A "klick" is a unit of metric measurement commonly used by militaries. A klick is equal to 1 kilometer.
The "X" in the word X-ray refers to the type of radiation the inventor Wilhelm Roentgen used.
He called it "X Radiation" because he didn't know what was so special about it, coined using the variable X.
The common children's toy "The Teddy Bear" is nicknamed after the U.S. president Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt.
The term comes from a hunting incident where President Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear cub.
